The program was launched on November 1, 2008. Like the television program of the 1950’s, our program takes five women with hard luck stories who would be encouraged by experiencing a day that made them feel royal. We make them know that they are royalty because the Prince of Peace has ensured that royal bloodline can be extended to anyone and everyone. Through God’s divine design He connected Young Lives, DC with “Go Ye…” Ministries.
As a result our first Queen For A Day Program served five women from Young Lives, DC, a nonprofit program for Teen Moms. It is always a blessing to receive God’s love through His people in ways we never expect—that is the goal of this program.
